Ray, 2000). Here we will consider the recruitment of a marketing executive for a manufacturing company. The first stage of any recruitment process is to define exactly what job it
is the person recruited is to perform. Marketing executive may be anything form a new name for a travelling sales man, to a senior marketing manager who will e running
advertisement campaigns. Here we have a manufacturing company, and as such the job could be either. In defining the job we will be identifying the task, which will then make
it easier to move onto the next stage this is the identification of the qualities and skills that should be held by the potential candidate. Here we have a
company with a marketing department, manufacturing their goods they then need to sell them. We will assume that the post is within the marketing department, but it is a relatively
junior position, The post will involve aiding a marketing manager within that department. This will mean general office duties whilst learning the trade, some inpt when it comes to campaign,
but mostly undertaking tasks similar to that of a personal assistant. Some work will be required outside the office, and the candidate will have the chance to learn on the
