following paper examines three different essays regarding Muhammad. The essays are Sirat Rasul Allah by ibn Ishaq, The Prophet and the True Believer Sayed Ameer Ali, and The Western Assessment
of Muhammad William Montgomery Watt. Sirat Rasul Allah by ibn Ishaq First and foremost it should be noted that the beginning of this particular essay was not faxed to
this writer and as such this writer has only a general understanding of what the essay addresses. What we see in this particular work is something of a history of
the rules and guidelines associated with the religion. The author notes, for example, "It shall not be lawful to a believer who holds by what is in this document and
believes in God and the last day to help an evil-doer or to shelter him. The curse of God and His anger on the day of resurrection will be upon
him if he does, and neither repentance nor ransom will be received from him" (Ishaq 182). The test essentially offers up such laws that can help us understand more of
