model would be difficult and would undermine motivation as adults would feel they were being treated as children. * Adults have a wealth of experience, including relevant workplace experience; this
can add value to the learning process and cannot be ignored. This can also enhance peer learning. * Adults learning in a workplace environment are learning skills and knowledge
that is likely to require immediate application, and expect to apply the learning almost immediately. Conversely, children are learning to acquire knowledge which may be applied later in life.
