We may not yet understand the full extent of the role that omega-3 fatty acids play in avoiding or protecting against disease, but there is enough evidence
that the benefits are extensive enough so that it should be available to many more people than currently have access to the substance.

Avoiding a disease is far less costly than treating it, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). This statement is made from the perspective of government spending, which
