questions. The simplest form of interactive survey is a distributed questionnaire survey, in which the personal conducting the survey uses an interview
strategy. The interviewer asks the individuals a set of questions that are standard, that is used for all of the subjects, and notes the responses to each of the
questions. Depending on the type of questions (single-response or open-ended), the interview outcomes can be documented or the entire session can be recorded.
Another similar form is a telephone survey, in which the person conducting the survey asks questions and the person taking the survey responds. Interviewer can use a
set of questions that are the same for each person, or they can use questions that shift depending on the responses of subject. For example, a consumer questionnaire may
have different core questions depending on the age, gender or socioeconomic status of the individual. Online surveys are also becoming increasingly
popular, and can take on interactive functions, ranging from the differentiation of surveys (as noted above) based on demographic characteristics imputed at the beginning of the survey, to interactive elements
within the software of the survey itself. Interactive surveys can include drop and drag functions, interactive graphics and video elements, all of which can be used to inform subject
