still endured numerous other local and global events. In a very thorough and investigative article, titled "Qantas: the Australian airline" by Graham Hubbard, the reader is given a very intimate
look at many of the aspects that make up Qantas, as well as the aspects which involve Qantas through direct contact with many other airlines around the world. In examining
this article, in addition to other sources which provide more recent pieces of information concerning Qantas and other airlines, we will discuss the many different aspects which directly involve the
management concerns of Qantas airlines. The Case Made in "Qantas: the Australian airline" In "Qantas: the Australian airline," Graham Hubbard takes the reader from the beginning of the
industry, illustrating that Qantas was the second commercial international airline in existence. The author illustrates how Qantas took full advantage of the international business and decided to give over all
domestic flights to another Australian airline, saving all international Australian flights for themselves. This included travel to many different countries such as Asia, and of course, the United States. With
the many different global issues taking place, during the entire history of Qantas, the airline went through many changes, perhaps the most prominent occurring during the last few decades due
to economic concerns around the world. The author takes the reader through all of the different events that have affected the airline industry, in clearly illustrating how Qantas implemented many
different approaches to the problems and further involved their company in different levels of involvement that would, presumably or hopefully, push the company back into a position where they were
