common methods of researching - the strongest research paradigms - are qualitative research and quantitative research. According to Ruskin (2003), any research
study design begins with a topic selection and a paradigm, which she defines as a "framework of beliefs, values and methods within which research takes place."
As with anything scientific, researchers have their favorite when it comes to these two (while others actually combine the two). In this paper, well examine
the two methods, determine the differences, then discuss the paradigms in which they can be used when it comes to research on human relations. Though, in theory, qualitative research is
