changed, By tracking the potential path of a purchase from an internet site the motivation and process may be better understood. The Product to be Purchased The product to
be purchased is a book. This is not an instance of shopping for leisure, but to purchase a book needed for a collage/university course. The product is therefore one that
is specified and on which there is not any ability to look for differences as it is required for the course. In this sense, the product is generic, and the
same book bought from any number of suppliers will be exactly the same. The student may choose nay book that is relevant to their own course. Main Goal
for Purchasing the Product There are several aims to be satisfied when purchasing the book. One reason for looking for the book on the internet is to try and
reduce the price paid. As an academic book there are few discounts to be found in the bricks and mortar stores. As a student on a limited budget it is
important to economise where possible. However, price is not the only goal. The student will also need to book in a short period of time. The book needs to be
used for the course being studied and as such as delay of several weeks could be detrimental to the student. The aspect of availability and delivery are also important.
As this is an important purchase even if it is not a lot there is also the aspect of the vendor. There has to be a certain level of trust
