involves nothing but confusion on the part of the characters who are being toyed with in a magical forest. In this story there is great chaos as one character, Puck,
goes about the task that Oberon has set for him, confusing people and playing with magic. This story really has no true protagonist, for Oberon is something of an antagonist,
causing problems for seemingly selfish problems, and the characters who are being toyed with are not anything but vehicles for humor. As such, if there was to be a protagonist
it would be Puck. The following paper examines this position. In A midsummer Night\\\s Dream. Explain why Puck can be considered the protagonist. in what way does Puck\\\s spirit
dominate the mood of the play? Puck as Protagonist As mentioned, the main characters in this particular play are considered to be Oberon, all the people he wants to
involve, and Puck for the most part. Puck is nothing but a mischievous fairy who is Oberons jester and thus under the domain of Oberon to some extent. In other
words, Puck, though playful and fun, must essentially do what Oberon tells him. In the following Puck introduces himself: "I am that merry wanderer of the night./ I jest to
