renew values statement, etc. on a regular basis (Federwisch, 2007). Value statements encompass concepts that can be explained to everyone (Federwisch, 2007) and that are understood by those in the
organization and those outside. In an ethical organization, the executives can be observed adhering to the organizations code of ethical conduct, it is essential that top management and leaders live
by the code (Federwisch, 2007). The code of conduct is the key that guides behaviors, including all decisions (Federwisch, 2007). This needs to be well-written and clear and also, as
short as possible so the issue does not get lost in verbiage (Federwisch, 2007). Codes of ethical conduct are far more likely to be followed if the organization provides training
in ethical behaviors (Federwisch, 2007). The organizations value and code should be communicated to new hires and should be reviewed for everyone in the organization on a regular basis (Federwisch,
2007). It is much better and will have more impact if this training and communication happens in a face-to-face situation and not be e-mail or memos or even a
