Essay / Research Paper Abstract
4 pages in length. Drawing upon the deeper, more fractured components of an individual's 'self,' psychosynthesis is a process whereby these otherwise separate elements are brought together in order to align these multiple facets of the person's holistic being. This blending attribute is meant to integrate the myriad aspects of mind and body to which conventional theories have only given passing glances; traditional psychotherapies go only so far into a person's overall being in order to rebalance the mind, leaving out many critical components the foster healing of the whole individual rather than merely pieces and parts. Gestalt is one particularly effective model of change that embraces the holistic tenets of psychosynthesis and is useful in short term work. Bibliography lists 3 sources.

specific pieces and parts. Gestalt therapy is one particularly effective model of change that embraces the holistic tenets of psychosynthesis and is useful in short term work. Gestalt therapy

are incapable of reaching their full mental, physical and spiritual selves. This holistic approach to well being is based within the synergistic properties of perception, awareness and spatial reality
as they all work together to reveal hidden attributes that impact thought and behavior. Field theory is but one approach under the umbrella of gestalt therapy that reaches far
into this vast cavity of the human beings visual imagery and draws out a response that helps to synthesize the aforementioned properties. Visual experience appears in the form of
a continuous space containing perceived objects that occupy discrete volumes of that space, with spatially extended colored surfaces observed on the exposed faces of perceived objects. It is a
picture-like experience whose information content is equal to the information content of a three-dimensional painted model, like a museum diorama, or a theater set. A number of Gestalt illusions
