When we consider our beliefs in regard to such things as the existence of God, the afterworld, and life after death we most often rely solely on
what critics consider myth to substantiate those beliefs. Some suggest that we also rely largely on these same myths to knock down what others present to us as scientific
fact. For those of us who believe this so-called fact is in itself arrived at through nothing more than pseudoscience. Consider the article "The Prophets Condemn the Common
(False) Idea of Evolution", for example. The author of this article purports that the theory of evolution is based on nothing more that an over-generalization. The dilemma thus
presents itself, who is right? The creationists or the evolutionists? The answer? Probably both! In "Pseudoscience and the Paranormal" author
Terence Hines attacks everything from our belief in God to some of our convictions that we have personally witnessed evidence of the existence of an afterworld. Hines contends that
even our attempts to justify such beliefs on a scientific level are nothing more than pseudoscience. To critics like Hines even the Bible is nothing more than myth!
We must acknowledge, of course, that from a Biblical perspective the world is viewed from the basis of belief. From a scientific perspective,
in contrast it is purported to be viewed from the outlook of empiricism. The fact that there can be a considerable contrast in viewpoints is obvious. The fact
