approach can be seen in the way that the technology is introduced, or if the employee arrives after the technology is in place the way the employees is introduced to
the technology. There is a high likelihood that there will need t be some training in the specific applications that may be unusual or unique to the firm. Even where
an employee has good T skills for universal applications, such as Microsoft Office products, the training in the specific applications forms the basis of the skills and is the initial
form of support. The training should include a range of issues, including hands on experience with the system and lessons in how to use it in different scenarios. There should
also be instruction and trials in how to problem solve ensuring that the employees know where and when to get support. The strategy may also extend to incorporate a
co-operative culture where employees are able to help each other, This may include the use of mentors in the workplace to guide newer or less experience members staff, where there
is a supportive culture this has two potential ways of providing IT support. There is an indirect informal support that can be gained where there is a culture of help,
with employees helping each other through peer support. However, this also needs to be monitored as aid given may not always be the most effective, or correct, solution. A supportive
culture such as this will also make it more likely that en employee will seek help when they need it rather than try and struggle on or use trial and
