uninsured (or underinsured) for more than three decades. Various measures have been enacted, some with little or no effect; others have had only the effect of exacerbating the problem.
Thankfully, the Clintons health care reform proposals of the early 1990s were rejected when they were, as they certainly could only have turned a bad situation into a living
nightmare of exponentially-spiraling costs beginning at their already too-high level. With a presidential election bearing down and Republicans apparently determined to shoot themselves
in their collective foot, there is a strong possibility that a Democrat will gain the office with next election. Even far-right talk radio concedes that Hillary Clinton is the
