really, or ultimately, be proven or disproved. The following paper examines both sides of the argument for the existence, or lack thereof, of God and then examines the other side.
Proof of Gods Existence Many people, perhaps especially Christians, believe that Gods existence is proved by the Bible. But, in all honesty, the Bible was a work written,
and edited, by man, many men, and this does not make it an infallible or true source. Believing in the Bible does not mean that God exists. Others claim that
personal experiences with God prove God exists but those are only personal experiences and thus cannot be proven or disproved. Most of the arguments for the existence of God
are based on foundations that cannot themselves be proven, such as a belief in the Bible or personal experience. And, it is perhaps imperative to realize that God cannot really,
or likely, be proven to exist by beings who are his/her creation. One could no more expect an ant to be able to calculate the activities and power of humanity
than a man can do the same for God, if there is a God. In essence, if God exists then God is a being that is capable of creating all
life, planets, the intricacies of biology and everything! It is quite presumptuous to believe that humanity could therefore begin to truly comprehend even one element or aspect of such a
