Essay / Research Paper Abstract

A 5 page paper discussing some of the practical matters of project planning. One of the dangers of project management is failing to identify all steps of the project at the outset. The schedule already has been established by the time it becomes apparent that steps have been overlooked. Adding other steps can destroy the established project plan or require significant adjustment, either of which will add to the total cost of the project. Clearly, it is desirable to identify all steps before work begins. The purpose here is to describe a project plan and break down two major activities into their smaller tasks. Includes a simple Gantt chart. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
