medical care system, it cannot deliver the goods to all. It does try, accepting patients without insurance in an emergency, but what results is high inflation in the medical sector
with little relief for either patients, hospitals or physician owned practices. In other words, due to the lack of a practical delivery system, everyone pays the price.
Soon, New Jersey will get a new governor. What should the new governor do to address the health care crisis? First, a student writing on this
subject should identify the three most important issues in health and health care delivery. In this way, the problem can be narrowed down into digestible components and also, it can
provide some hint as to what might be done about the problem. A new governor should strive to at least make a
dent in the problem in the next four years. It seems that the most pertinent problems are the rising number of uninsured, a nursing shortage, and an increase in hospital
patients. A convergence of such factors has raised questions in respect to the countrys health care delivery system (Carpenter, 2001). These problems are certainly present in New Jersey. Crowded
