current president, we are likely not in possession of all the knowledge and skills necessary to make a great deal of judgments. However, as the public and as citizens of
the country we do have some opinions and some ideas of how things could be done differently in a variety of areas. We have these opinions because we all have
ideas about what a president should do, in terms of making the country a better place to live and in terms of improving global conditions. It should be noted
that, without the proper knowledge and without the proper skills, one can only imagine how they would go about taking on the tasks that the President of the United States
faces every day. Bearing that in mind the following paper presents an examination of various current presidential issues and concerns, offering suggestions to the student in imagining what they would
do if they were the President of the United States. The issues discussed are global issues, terrorist issues, and domestic issues. Presidential Issues: If I Were President One
of the most important issues on the presidents desk today, and likely to be on the presidents desk tomorrow and for some time to come, is the issue relating to
terrorism. As president of a very powerful country it is important that alienation of other countries not become a reality. It is not difficult to see why a great deal
of the world hates Americans when Americans feel that the world should be put on hold for the concerns of the United States. Bush has continuously informed countries that they
