be used for, its goals and the way in which success or failure will be measured. When setting up at a center for an ethnic minority there will be specific
concerns and issues which need to be addressed. It is only by recognizing the different requirements that a successful plan for setting up and running and running a center can
be developed. Slide 2 There are certain processes which need to be undertaken whichever type of center that is being setup, regardless of
its ultimate purpose. The purpose of the center will determine who the stakeholders are; as providing a service and impacted by the existence of the center as well as those
who are receiving service. For the project to be successful at needs to be identified and then prioritized, so that the key needs can be focused upon. For any Day
Center there will always be some type of limitation in terms of the resources which are available, as a result the needs of the different stakeholders may need to be
balanced. Where a day center has been setup with specific purpose of serving and ethnic community specific cultural needs as well as the operational needs will need to be considered.
