the abstract (Feeley, Hwang & Barnett, p. 56). The Introduction provides background on the topic. The researchers explain how organizations are systems or webs and the importance of interactions between
coworkers. They comment that the interactions may be pleasant which would build relationships as well as why such relationships may be unpleasant abstract (Feeley, Hwang & Barnett, p. 57). Following
their brief introduction, the researchers explain the purpose of their study which is to investigate the effect of social relationships on the rate or turnover. Their study is justified by
