is a twenty-three year old African American female suffering from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and alcoholism. Destitute, and living on the streets, Johnson has encountered various arms
of social services and law enforcement quite frequently in the past. These encounters, however, have never effected a true remedy for Johnsons problems. She is unlikely to obtain
a job given her lack of education and job skills and likely unable to hold a job even if she were to find one due to her alcoholism and the
complications of her PTSD. Consequently, she has been on the welfare roles for most of her life, both while as a child being bounced around the foster care system
and as an adult. The purpose of this paper is to present a proposal for such a remedy, to present a treatment play which will positively modify her use of
alcohol and which will provide relief from the PTSD. Not only will a means of accomplishing behavioral modification be proposed but a means of assessing the success of that
modification will be included as well. The plan will progress with two goals in mind:
1. The instillation of coping skills for the PTSD which will allow the client to pursue a productive life. 2.
The abatement of the alcoholism. Post traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychological condition which affects
