Essay / Research Paper Abstract
35 pages in length. The struggle between positive and negative forces is a challenge that has besieged mankind since he first came to be upon this planet. The dichotomy of this duality that lives inside the deepest recesses of the human psyche is considered by some to be wholly out of the realm of any control, inasmuch as people have an intrinsic predisposition toward negativity and unhappiness. By contrast, however, are those who argue that man is in complete control of the manner by which he perceives - and thereby responds to - negative stimulus, with those who are more spiritually evolved possessing the greater opportunity for cultivating positive thinking and the happiness that accompanies it. In short, positive thinking has a great influence among people and helps increase their happiness. Bibliography lists 28 sources.
