The business of globalization has stepped into the limelight of our political works more than ever before in light of globalization. The more we globalize the more vital it becomes to have a solid policy in place so that we can intermingle and co-exist with the other countries of the world. Globalization is one of the few political venues that exclude all but the federal government in its needs and actions. State governments and local governments turn to the federal government to guide them in how we as a country will approach globalization(Economist 27) . The globalization efforts and events are mandated by the office of the president of the United States Of America and there are several committees and subcommittees to advise the office of the president about foreign happenings. This allows the president to change it as needed(Economist 27) . The topic of globalization has become a heated issue that had threatened to divide congress into party lines once again(Economist 27) . There are increasing illustrations that as the world becomes a smaller place we continue to feel more closed in and judgmental about our international neighbors and they about us. This make the issue of globalizing even more political than ever(Economist 27) . "Popular worries are putting globalization back on the political agenda. Ever since Congress, in 1997, rejected President Clintons request for "fast track" authority to negotiate trade agreements, American policymakers have become more and more reluctant to endorse economic integration(Economist 27) .
