for decades on his determination, his vision, his "theory of the universe." He bases much of his theory on what the future may hold based on his own work
relating to the meaning, arrangement, and development of the universe. The simplest way to describe Kakus theory of the universe is to describe it as "ultimate interconnectedness." Kaku is
a professor of theoretical physics at the City College of the City University of New York. A great deal of
his theory has developed through a meticulous study of the three 20th-century major scientific upheavals: the "computer revolution," the "biomolecular revolution," and the "quantum revolution." These revolutions are all
interconnected as are all aspects of the universe. For example, discovery of the DNA double helix, for example, relied on X-ray crystallography, a technique derived from quantum physics (Silber

dimensions rather that the generally agreed upon four. He also speculates that humans are about to make the remarkable transition "from being passive observers of Nature to active choreographers
