Although school systems try to produce people who are like one another, the truth is that in the end, people grow up and end up with their own unique attributes.
In part this can be explained by things that go beyond the mundane. For example, Platos model embraces the idea that the soul is divided into three parts, which
are wisdom, courage, and appetite. The dominant part of the soul defines the personality and in a perfect world, the status in life is already selected and one
is tested to determine ones place in society. This is wrong. An individual is always evolving and if he or she were to accept the concept of placement, he
or she would lose personal freedom and their primary instinct to overcome the world. In other words, personality is always evolving. It constantly changes. Plato is rigid. Sziro (2000)
explains: "According to general belief, the adherents to mathematical methods are the followers of Platonists. They suppose that some kind of order is ruling in the world that can be
recognized and then conceptualized" (p.495). In looking at Platos philosophy, one sees rigidity. Yet, there are some who say that people never change and that personality stays the same. In
order to comprehend why this is not the case, and understand the thesis which also supports the idea that Platos theory is wrong, it is prudent to first explore Platos
ideas. Kerns (2002) explains that Platos division of the psyche is in three primary elements, and while it resembles Freuds paradigm of id, ego and superego, it
