Triumph of the Barberini, but he did so with the utmost of detail. The images he featured did not appear to be the flat, one-dimensional figures typically seen in
such artistic endeavors; rather, his extraordinary talent enabled them to jump off the wall in glorious three-dimensional form. Da Cortona implemented the illusionary effects of color to promote this
accomplishment, which is evident by viewing his wonderful use of unorthodox hues. Yet another inspiring aspect of use of line and shape is that of his exquisite appointment to
detail, particularly with regard to the human face. One only has to witness the delicate expressions of each person to recognize the intensity with which he created this effect.
Establishing a life-like replication of the human element is not an easy task; da Cortona was exemplary at capturing the very essence of humanitys peculiarity.
Clearly, these features coincide with the artists talent for incorporating texture within his creation. Without the molded feel of texture, Triumph of the Barberini would hold
no amount of substance but instead would merely exist as a colored drawing upon a wall. Delicate but detailed texture is what enhances the already exquisite singularity of design,
