Max and his vibrant colors have become part of the fabric of contemporary American culture" (Gallery M, 2007). Although he was perhaps a common name several decades ago today many
people are unaware of his work. He has been continuing to work in the field of art and in the past decade has created some wondrous works. The following paper
discusses, examines, and analyzes Peter Maxs work from the last decade or so. Peter Max After Max left the commercial world of painting, after the 60s, he returned
to more serious artworks and in the past 10 years or so "Max has continued to flourish, working in a bewildering array of media--everything from prints to race cars to
stamps to the flanks of jetliners" (Gant, 2002). As such his works vary quite a bit. He apparently does many different types of work, some for more commercial events, but
always it seems with an eye for a better world. He was a painter that worked for four different presidents, "Carter, Ford, Bush and Reagan" and then in 1993
he was approached by Bill Clinton to create posters for Clintons inauguration (Peters Biography, 2007). Clinton also invited him to come "to the White House to paint the signing
of the Peace Accord" (Peters Biography, 2007). Other Global endeavors have involved stamps, paintings of the United Nations Building, a poster for the Olympics, "Summit of the Americas...and the United
