and week of their time learning about not only what "works" with what, but also learning about themselves. These individuals are ones who have not been expressing their personalities
through clothing choices, or have been taking the wrong route to expressing themselves. Stacy London is a master of the one-liner direct hits, such as "You dont want to
show too much skin at work - unless youre a lifeguard" (Riley, 2007). There are times that people know precisely what they want
to reflect with their choices in clothing, but frequently many people are confused in how to accomplish that end. Whether individuals are successful in their efforts or not, the
fact remains that "People express their personalities through the clothes they wear." Prescribed Expectations There are settings and situations in which people are
expected to dress in certain ways. An example is the office. Where it is likely that customers will be seeing employees, those employees are expected to dress appropriately
for business. Where there is little direct customer contact, a trend in recent years has been toward more and more casual clothing, to the extent that many no longer
dress appropriately at all. Where it is clear that pajama bottoms and torn jeans are unacceptable, the "look" can take on one of
