children we do not have the skills and knowledge needed to determine our own values, children have worlds that are self centered, to see themselves as anything other than the
center of their own universe, we are reliant on what we have been taught and how that it taught, which cannot fail to influence our views as adults. However,
I like to think I am more than an adult who has values resulting for lessons in childhood; that I have developed and evolved where my values framework is not
only reactive but able to guide and help me make decision to take actions in difficult scenarios. The framework that my values are based on are therefore founded on
the values I was taught as a child, reflecting societal values which may be argued as based on both the national legal framework and religious frameworks. In both cases it
may be argues that these are frameworks which have been developed out of necessity, with rules needed for the ability of society to operate. Basic rules against harming others ad
steeling are on both legal and religious frameworks, and are needed to sustain a social fabric. However, there are also concepts that go beyond the generally accepted rights and wrongs,
which may be taught in religions but are rarely seen within the law, such as consideration of others, keepings ones word to a friend and the concept of honor. These
are seen in some religious frameworks, but I would like to believe the foundation of my values came from my childhood and the way I was brought up, not with
only riles of what I would and could not do, but with an awareness of the outside world and the importance of others; considering friends and family as well as
