many students take on within the global environment as well as the influences within education. Experience in teaching English in secondary schools has facilitated first hand knowledge of the importance
as well as the difficulties and challenges faced by students when learning English. Having undertaken teaching of English as a vocation rather than simply a career it is my desire
to further develop knowledge concerning applied linguistics with specific reference to the between Arabic and English morphemes, and syntax in terms of the relations between discourse and the emergence
of syntax under the heading of discourse analysis. The aim of the study of this area is to apply the outcome of the learning in order to improve the quality
of teaching and the learning experiences for students. My background gives me a clear understanding and places me in a strong position to undertake these studies successfully. I am
currently living in Toronto, Canada, and was born in Riyadh, going to both primary and secondary school in Saudi Arabia. Throughout school I excelled in English language, in secondary school
having a GPA of 94.5% and an overall grade of Excellent. I have a bachelors degree in English Language gained in 2004 after four years of study at the
English Department of Riyadh University with Average mark of 80.47%. During this course I studied both linguistics and literary, and during the third year of study followed a more specialized
track with the study of morphology and syntax, in the forth year I also studied general linguistics, gaining overall marks of B+ and A+ for these courses. It
