by a proliferation of special interest groups and the media. It is invariable that the way in which a company operates, and ethical values manifest will reflect the ethics of
the leaders, but when looking more closely at many organizations, such as Wells Fargo, it may be argued that the way that culture is created and influenced comes from the
many individual employees, and their own sense of ethics which are brought into he workplace which combine with the employers ethics and values.
An employees own personal ethics and values will have evolved over many years, influenced by the social norms within the community as well as values within the family and
peers as well as experiences, and may be seen as leading to the way different actions, potential actions and attitudes of oneself and others are judged. The dictionary defines ethics
as as "that branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of
the motives and ends of such actions" (Dictinary.com, 2011). However determining what is right and wrong is not always easy, this can vary depending on the individual and the circumstances,
meaning that it can be a very subjective judgement. In examining ones own approach to ethical decision making there are different approaches
which may be considered. Two approaches can be defined in the work of Kant and Mills. The perspectives of these two men are very different. Kant created the categorical imperative
