This will facilitate the medium and long-term aspirations as well as benefit to any potential employer. The initial goal is to gain a job in the marketing department of a multinational company. A multinational company will provide a greater potential to develop the transferable skills learnt during undergraduate and postgraduate education. The initial post targeted will be that of a graduate entrant position. This will allow for an increased knowledge to develop as well as a broad foundation in marketing to be pursued. Many graduate programmes last for a period of time, such as two years, they are structured so that during the set period the recruit can undertake a broad range of duties.
