two. Both are sets of financial data. One data set is for a company and one for the Dow Jones Industrial Average for the same dates. If there is to
be a cause and effect relationship hypothesized then we can look at this is two ways, with each being the cause. It is know that the price for
individual stock on the market is determined by the supply and demand for a stock, where the demand is higher that the supply the price will increase and may pursed
more people to sell, where the demand is lower than the supply the price will fall back. If investors make use of the DJIA in order to help with
their investment decisions it is possible that this would have a direct impact on the level of demand for the shares in Cardinal Health Inc. If we look at the
opposite we can argue that the DJIA is the average of all shares, so if the Cardinal Health Inc are representative of the market they will move in line with
the DJIA, however in this case the causal factor is separate from both of these data sources and as such they are both caused by a separate third factor so
does not have a causal relationship. 2. With the idea that the movement of the DJIA is impacting the demand for the Cardinal Health Inc shares we can form an
hypothesis. The first hypothesis is the idea that our theory is right (Curwin and Slater, 2000), here we may state that H1 The moment in the share price of Cardinal
Health Inc is caused by the movement in the DJIA impacting on the supply and demand factors for the Cardinal Health Inc. Now we need to state a
