Essay / Research Paper Abstract
A 3 page film review of “Peaceful Warrior,” directed by Victor Salva, which is based the 1980 autobiography authored by Dan Millman and the film uses a screenplay adaptation by Kevin Bernhardt (McKenzie). The film fails artistically on a number of levels. First of all, it offers no surprises, as it is a typical sports movie. Secondly, the characterization is rather flimsy and somewhat preposterous. Third, as the filmmakers have little to say and do not say it well, the plot is boring. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
