There have been too many incidents of aggressive actions that have led to injuries. In some extreme cases, planned parenthood clinics have been bombed. There do not seem to
be any legal actions that can be taken to eliminate these demonstrations. Demonstrators seem to be careful to stay on public property, like sidewalks and streets. Clinic officials are left
without the means of protecting those persons who want to visit the clinics. These demonstrations hurt those people who need the services of the clinic. They cause emotional distress
and embarrassment. What demonstrators say to them is harmful insofar as they are made to feel like criminals or horrible creatures. This has a negative impact on their feelings of
self-esteem and self-worth. This essay explores this problem by considering the legal status of these clinics and the persons who access their services. The core of the problem is

protect those persons who are trying to access these services. Planned Parenthood Legal Status The 1973 U.S. Supreme Court case, Roe vs. Wade made it legal for women to
get abortions (National Abortion Federation, 2010). This means that women could see certified physicians instead of finding quacks in back alleys. The law resulted in a dramatic decrease in the
numbers pregnancy-related deaths and injuries. The Supreme Court took it up as a privacy issue and ruled that the right to privacy included the right of women to decide themselves
