involvement in the condition or experience or institution that people ultimately understand something about it they did not previously know. It is, ultimately, the experience that offers the paradigm shift
in thinking and feeling. The following paper presents an analysis of the paradigm shift offered in marriage. Paradigm Shift: Marriage Prior to being married one can envision that
marriage is a wonderful partnership that simply grows stronger through the years. They can feel that marriage is a very wonderful institution that will complete the individual. Or perhaps they
may feel that marriage is nothing but a partnership that is not worth engaging in. In this particular case the thought is that marriage is ever-changing and risky. From
a personal perspective of a paradigm change involving marriage and this particular writer/researcher, the marriage is the second. The first marriage was early in life, at the age of 18,
and the individual knew that marriage would be hard, that it would be something that would have its ups and downs but that it was an institution to keep strong
and remain within regardless of the hardships. This attitude changed after a decade, for a variety of mental illness instabilities on the part of the other party, and a divorce
ensued. From that point on this individual still recognized that marriage could be difficult, that it required give and take, and that it was a very important institution not to
