out as being representative of the structure and the design is the windows. The following paper examines the design and architectural integrity of the windows in the Palmer Museum of
Art. Palmer Museum of Art: Windows This particular museum has gone through many architectural developments over the years. The museum states, "The Palmer Museums bold fa?ade, the outward
result of a major expansion and renovation in 1993, surrounds the museums original 1972 building, a three-story structure that once housed only three galleries to display traveling exhibitions and art
from the museums permanent collection" (Palmer Museum of Art, 2006). Much of the work was done by the husband and wife architectural team known as Arbonies King Vlock, PC. Their
statement is that, "Its not just about architecture" (Arbonies King Vlock, PC, 2006). In essence, their mission is to work, quite a bit with universities, to incorporate many ideals of
the clients with the finished architectural design. Such an approach is evident in the windows of this particular structure. In the first picture to be examined, given the name
frontelevation2, one can see the powerful structural design of the building. There are strong high archways that are within a pitched roof. The background of the building is horizontal and
serves as a sharp and intriguing contrast against the pitch and the almost Southwestern archways. This is further enhanced by the one apparent window that is above the front entrance.
