delivery of news and entertainment. The internet brought boundless possibilities and despite the endless headaches, arising from the need to accommodate the exponential growth, it opened the door to all
sorts of global interchange. One of the effects which came about was that national boundaries became more of an abstract concept, since at the blink of an eye one could
carry on a conversation with someone half way across the world. What came from this mingling of cultures was that a global culture was born. As such, then, the film
making industry was not exempt from the push and pull of lightning fast connections, increased digital analysis, and ease of use in compiling various statistics. Many experts seem to believe
that with globalization the world will become a single place that serves as a frame of reference to everyone. In other words, then, the simple connectivity of one culture or
country to another is not what this connectivity seems to refer to, then, but rather to the influence that this connectivity will have on the subsequent nations and cultures of
the world. Meaning, that the impact of globalization is felt not in travel but in staying at home. In perhaps no other popular facet has this taken place like it
has with the spread and popularity of American movies. Hollywoods influence and reach has long extended beyond its own shores and in to the movie theaters across the world. It
is no wonder, then, that movie stars from The United States are as famous in Thailand as they are in America. In previous times these movies included the melodramatic movies,
