As in the paper on consumer models arising from pop culture, one would want to perhaps have an introduction that looks something like this: There are at least two significant factors that separate man from the animals. One of these aspects, the student can surmise, is that of culture, which it can be argued, continues to evolve just as mankind tends to change and evolve. Therefore, if mankind tends to change, or evolve, then, too, might the way in which his economics are viewed or approached. Change is brought on by any number of factors, it might be said, which can also trigger significant changes in the economic structures as well. The student might wish to include that when it is all said and done, it still remains that mankind is an animal at heart, but that we have a better grasp of physics than the rest of the animals on the planet. That having been said, then, instinct for survival, whether realized consciously or not seems to drive mankind toward changes. The thesis generally comes at the end of the first or second paragraph and normally is reserved for the last sentence. Therefore, the last sentence in this paragraph would be the thesis: Given the intrinsic link between cultural changes and the economy, one would have to state that Popular culture can be used as a consumer model for life.
