different scenarios, from the way in which jobs are awarded, to the way in which residents of retirement homes are treated as children, regardless of their metal capacity.
If we look at the way in which this is sought to be overcome we can look at many different projects that have been undertaken. However, to understand this we
also need to consider if there really is evidence for ageism present in the current society. If there is then these projects need to be considered more carefully, if it
is not, or only present in a few areas the resources used may be seen as better reallocated. Projects have included the consideration of legislation following the Amsterdam treaty and
