to provide hundreds of temporary or leased employees (Buss, 1995). When a business owner uses the term outsourcing, they can now mean anything from what traditionally had been known as
simple vendor relationships to the reformatting and reshaping of an entire company (Buss, 1995). Many services are outsourced. These services include payroll services, tax compliance, employee benefits, and
claims administration. With the advent of technology, more and more companies are now outsourcing such functions as their IT Departments and the entire Human Resource Department. Even smaller companies
are sourcing a growing list of other minor and major functions, which include equipment maintenance, sales representation, manufacturing, internal auditing, and accounting (Buss, 1995). In addition, other activities are
increasing being outsourced such as copying, faxing, professional service, which include legal advice and public relations, transportation, telemarketing, merchandising, export freight forwarding and in some instances the functions of engineering
and strategic planning (Buss, 1995). The typical type of outsourcing which affects most everyone is the outsourcing of call centers. Nearly everyone has experienced a discussion concerning a
piece of equipment such as a computer issue with someone in a distance land such as India or China. Outsourcing enables companies to focus on core activities and increase
flexibility by knowing when to farm out functions best done by others (Buss, 1995). OUTSOURCING TO INDIA Presently, India is the primary target country for outsourcing. It is estimated
