that can impact on these characterise is the structure of the firm itself, different structures will result in different potential outcomes and structures that can facilitate and accommodate change easily
and support the use of technology are likely to be those which are favoured in the future. In a high technology environment
it is important that there is a greater flow of information. It is often a radical idea or development that will lead to major breakthroughs. Historically radical innovations have been
associated with entrepreneurial businesses that have less formal more flexible structures. There are many examples of this type company resulting in major innovations, but it is not only major innovation
that are important, small incremental changes or adaptations can also be important for the long term success and survival of a firm.
