the main activities at restaurant level are the preparation, sale and serving of fast food from a set menu and the provision of facilitates conducive to the consumption of the
food. There will be a number of goals present in the way that this is achieved; the firm will need to undertake this task in line with the corporate standards,
as a key element of the McDonalds experience is the level of uniformity, so that a customer walking into a restaurant in New York will get the same experience as

of quality and service should be the same. The targets may be seen at all levels, there are small targets at the production levels timings for the speed of
service and production, targets for yields, there will also be targets for sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The general management structure and approach may be seen
as reflecting the concept of scientific management as the structure of the workplace sees employees undertaking a small part of each job, with a supporting bureaucratic structure. Depending
on the restaurant the number of managers at each level may vary, and in any shift there will be a floor manager managing the front of the restaurant, responsible for
