not a corporate culture can be changed after it is established. Thos who support the notion of corporate cultures agree that it is about what gets done, how it gets
done and who does it. They also agree that culture is embedded in employees minds even though culture is not discussed as such. Cultures are generally stable and fully ensconced
in the operations of the organization. This makes the culture extremely difficult to change. New employees may want to work for a company because they like the way the company
does things and existing employees may want to stay on for the same reason. It is comfortable and employees feel secure. There are numerous forces that drive the culture to
stay as it is and there are other forces that act to change the culture. While it is true that organizational culture is an abstract concept, it is also true
that the culture drives the company. This essay is structured in this way: corporate culture is explained with comments on how it is established; a discussion of who creates the
culture and how they do so; a discussion on how cultures can be changed with examples of cultures from high performance companies. The literature review will conclude that organizational
