has even gone as far as to argue that diversity in the organization inherently changes the group process, and as a result, necessitates to pursuit of varied approaches to understanding
different perspectives and addressing different ways of problem solving, different visions and different expectations. The common challenges met by organizational leadership when attempting to improvement new work initiatives
or workplace change include: the argument that there is not enough time or help to implement changes; that the changes are not relevant; the challenge of creating assessments and
measurements of the outcomes of change; the problem of diffusion; and the need to consider both the strategy and purpose of workplace change. In order to understand the progression
of a change initiative and determine the way in which change can be effectively defined, it is necessary to consider particular models, including the level of change diagram and the
use of restructuring/change models as a way of determining both the purpose and the goals of the change process. Change Initiative Perhaps one of the most important
and commonly implemented changes in the organizational setting is the introduction of new technology. Though some technologies, including new phone systems and computer network systems, have occurred over the
past decade with increasing frequency, there are many companies that still use simplified messaging and communications systems and standard manufacturing systems rather than computer automated processes, determining the need for
