Essay / Research Paper Abstract

Three one-page answers to three questions regarding opinions; changing opinions; and reaction to finding that the advice of an “expert” has been wrong. A strongly held opinion is illustrated by the author’s belief in the Montessori method of early childhood education. Changing positions after gaining further information is illustrated with the author’s shift from Democrat to Republican parties. Trusted “expert” advice that proved to be wrong is illustrated with a patient’s experience with pancreatitis. No sources listed.
