Given the fact that the myriad decisions I make can have a monumental impact upon life-altering issues, it can readily be argued that the responsibilities of a United States Supreme Court Justice truly represent one of the countrys most important jobs. Clearly, I am a representative of the people, working toward bettering the system for those who are being taken advantage of, as well as those who are caught in the middle of a legal loophole. My philosophies not only lend themselves well to the overall protection of society as a whole but also the smaller, lesser represented segments of the community that are frequently overlooked. This is why I hold fast to my sometimes volatile decision-making structure, confident enough in my personal opinions to stand firm against any derogatory feedback. As such, I trust that my liberal voting pattern reflects that of a Justice who truly does delve deeply into the dispute at hand an effectively weigh all sides equally. With that said, I will now offer my opinion of the Microsoft Anti-trust case. In a world where money is omnipotent and those who possess great wealth are revered as being God-like, Bill Gates stands on the top of the highest monetary mountain. However, the Microsoft Chairman and Chief Executive Officer has felt the strength of that mountain crumble just a little bit beneath his feet as the result of this anti-trust lawsuit brought about by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and twenty state attorney generals.
