employers so that workers will be protected. The EPA is an agency that oversees a number of things related to the environment. It goes beyond what an employer might to
ensure that the air that is breathed and the water that is used is healthy. The EPA has prompted regulations that do affect the way in which businesses are run.
While OSHA and EPA are two distinct agencies, they have worked together to ensure the health of the nation. In general, both organizations try to make sure that workers in
America are healthy and safe. They each do this in different ways, but they also work together. What are new areas of focus that OSHA and EPA many find themselves
doing? In order to glean what might occur, one might want to look at current trends as well as current problems. Today, workers have to cope with repetitive strain injuries
more and more as computers become more relevant. While OSHA does oversee this area, the problem will increase and OSHA will have to devise different methods of handling problems like
carpal tunnel syndrome. There are laws on the books for example that are related to the number of breaks that employees are given. This way, there is less chance that
workers will encounter such problems. However, this does not resolve the issue entirely. It seems that other resolutions should be looked into such as mandated voice sensitive computer software when
