forms "through which urine and/or feces pass uncontrollably" (What is fistula?, 2004). The woman literally has no control over urine or feces, which leak constantly and uncontrollably (What is
fistula?, 2004). Estimates of the number of sufferers differ, largely because of the shame involved with the condition, but it is estimated that there are "100,000 new fistula
