far from a humorous reality. The following paper examines obsessive-compulsive disorder. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder If you were to meet a person who
suffered from this condition you may, or may not, be able to tell they had a condition. For example, they may do something obvious like constantly cleaning things such as
the seat they would sit and their dinner utensils, if one is eating with or near such a person. But, one may also keep signs of their disorder very well
hidden for they may have inner worries that consistently haunt them. The following illustrates some of the symptoms and how the disorder can manifest itself: "Common obsessions are: contamination fears
of germs, dirt, etc. imagining having harmed self or others, imagining losing control or aggressive urges, intrusive sexual thoughts or urges, excessive religious or moral doubt, forbidden thoughts A need
to have things "just so" A need to tell, ask, confess common compulsions: washing repeating checking touching counting" (The OC Foundation, 2008). In light of this information an observer,
even perhaps a friend or coworker, may not be able to detect and have no idea someone has this disorder. Others who suffer may be far more obvious.
According to most research the condition involves men as equally as women (FamilyDoctor.org, 2008). In addition, it appears that adults get the problem, not
